  • What is Pinalofy and how does it work?

    Pinalofy is an AI-powered Pinterest Marketing Tool and Web App built on a Multi-tenant and BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) architecture.

    • Multi-tenant: Manage multiple websites or clients within isolated Workspaces, keeping data and settings strictly separated.
    • BYOK Storage: You maintain 100% ownership of your media. You will need to connect your own ImageKit.io API (where your Pins are stored).
    • Flexible Publishing: To automate your posting, you can optionally connect your Pinterest Standard App keys. If you prefer not to connect your account, you can simply export your Pins as a CSV file for native Pinterest Bulk Uploading.

  • How many Pins can I generate and schedule per month?

    The number of Pins depends on your subscription. Please check our Pricing Page for full details. Every user starts with one-shot trial credits to test the AI Pin Generator and Scheduler features without a credit card. Once you see the results, you can scale your plan to generate and publish hundreds of Pins every month.

  • Can I use my own images or take screenshots of my articles?

    Yes. Pinalofy is a flexible Content Curator. While our engine automatically scrapes your URL for images, you have three other ways to add visuals:

    • Instant Screenshot: Capture your live website directly in the app.
    • External Links: Paste image URLs from stock sites like Pixabay, Unsplash, or Pexels.
    • Manual Upload: Upload your own graphics or brand logos directly to your private ImageKit.io storage.

  • Can I use my own custom designs from Canva or Photoshop with Pinalofy?

    Absolutely. Among our 14+ viral layouts, you will find a dedicated template called "Personal Template Graphic". This option allows you to upload your own custom backgrounds created in external tools like Canva or Photoshop. Once your graphic is uploaded, you can set specific text placeholders: Pinalofy’s AI will then generate unique, SEO-optimized titles and automatically place them within your custom design. It is the perfect solution to maintain your unique Brand Identity while fully automating your fresh content creation.

  • Can I use my own logos, arrows, or custom buttons in my Pins?

    Yes, you can easily personalize your content via the Assets section. In your Assets > Media Library Brand Logo (Cloud), you can upload your custom logos, arrows, icons, or call-to-action buttons. These elements are designed to be hardcoded into our templates: once uploaded, Pinalofy’s AI will automatically integrate them into your selected layouts, ensuring a consistent and professional Brand Identity across all your generated content without any manual effort.

  • Are my data and API keys secure?

    Security is our foundation. All sensitive data, including your passwords and encrypted API keys, are protected by advanced security protocols. Because Pinalofy uses your own ImageKit and Pinterest Standard App (BYOK), we never have access to your private accounts. Your keys stay yours; our technology simply powers the automation between them.

  • What is the "90-day inactivity policy"?

    If your subscription expires, your account will downgrade to the Free Plan via our secure Stripe integration. However, for privacy and database security, if you do not log in to your account for more than 90 consecutive days, Pinalofy will permanently delete all your data, generated Pins, and settings. You can always return and reactivate your marketing journey at any time before this limit.

  • Can I cancel at anytime?

    Yes. From your personal area, you can manage and deactivate your monthly renewal. You can continue to use the Pianolofy services until they expire. If you change your mind, you can always reactivate them. There are no refunds.

Pricing, Account & CSV Policy

  • Is connecting a Pinterest Standard App mandatory?

    No, it is optional. While connecting your personal Standard App allows you to use our integrated scheduler for 100% automated posting, it is not required. If you prefer a more manual approach, you can generate your Pins and use our CSV Export feature to handle your publishing natively.

  • How does the "Native CSV Export" for Bulk Upload work?

    This is the perfect feature for Pinterest Business accounts. Pinalofy allows you to download all your generated Pins, including titles, descriptions, and image URLs, in a perfectly formatted CSV file. You can then upload this file directly into the Pinterest native "Bulk Create Pins" tool, allowing you to schedule weeks of content in one single upload.

  • How do Pin credits work on Pinalofy?

    Pin credits are assigned monthly based on your plan. One credit equals one complete Pin, which includes the AI-generated graphic, a unique SEO title, and a keyword-optimized description. Cloning an existing Pin also consumes one credit. To provide maximum flexibility, every generated Pin can be modified up to 3 times for free. Starting from the 4th modification, each subsequent edit will consume one additional credit to ensure optimal AI and server resource management.

  • How do payments and plan upgrades work?

    All transactions are handled securely via Stripe. You can upgrade your plan at any time; if you decide to move to a higher tier, Stripe will automatically calculate the prorated difference, so you only pay for the extra features you are using. If a subscription is not renewed, your account will simply downgrade to the Free Plan without losing your configuration.

  • Can I recover my data if I forget to renew?

    Yes. Your data remains safe even if your plan expires and you revert to the Free version. You can log in at any time to reactivate your subscription and restore full access to your Workspaces. However, please remember our 90-day inactivity policy: if you do not log in for more than 3 months, we will permanently delete all data and encrypted keys for your security and privacy.

  • Are my encrypted keys and passwords safe?

    Beyond safety—they are invisible. Pinalofy uses military-grade encryption for all API keys and passwords. Because of our BYOK model, we never have "master access" to your private accounts. You provide the keys to your own ImageKit and Pinterest App, and our technology simply bridges them. No one else can see or use your data.

  • What do I exactly need to start generating Pins?

    Once your email is confirmed, the setup is quick. To activate the AI generation engine, you need to connect your ImageKit.io account (their free plan includes 3GB of storage, which is more than enough for thousands of Pins). You will simply need to copy three values from your ImageKit dashboard: URL Endpoint, Public Key, and Private Key. This private cloud space is where Pinalofy will physically store your generated media so that Pinterest can access them directly from a fast, professional CDN that you own 100%.

  • How do Workspaces work and can I manage multiple projects?

    Yes, depending on your plan, you can manage several Workspaces simultaneously. Each Workspace is a completely isolated environment designed for a specific project, client, or niche blog. This means every Workspace has its own dedicated ImageKit storage, unique URL Bank, specific AI-generated Pins, and independent Scheduler. This multi-tenant architecture ensures that your data and Pinterest strategies never overlap between different websites.

  • Can I upgrade my plan later and how does billing work?

    You can upgrade your subscription at any time directly from your billing settings. We use Stripe to handle all transactions securely. If you decide to move to a higher tier mid-month, Stripe will automatically calculate a pro-rated charge, meaning you only pay the difference between the two plans for the remaining time. This allows you to start small and scale your Pinterest marketing as your business grows.
